Everest Base Camp is a popular trekking destination located in the Khumbu region of Nepal, near Mount Everest. The trek usually takes around 12-14 days, and it offers stunning views of the Himalayan mountain range, including Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world.
The trek starts in Lukla, a small town with an airport that serves as the gateway to the Khumbu region. From there, trekkers will pass through several Sherpa villages, including Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, and Gorak Shep, before reaching Everest Base Camp.
